In Memory of Jay Misson
1962 - 2008

Brewer

Jay learned homebrewing for a high school science project in 1978, thus beginning a lifelong career in brewing. Lew Bryson wrote a brief professional bio of Jay in his blog, (350k PDF) and many of those who worked with Jay over the years posted their own memories of him as blog comments.

Fisherman

Jay was an avid fisherman, often rising before dawn to surf fish on the beach near his home in Bradley Beach, NJ before heading to work for the day. He joined the online community at StripersOnline.com and made many friends there. Here are their stories and memories of Jay.
