Abe Ovadia is a distinctive voice in today’s jazz guitar landscape, blending deep tradition with a modern, emotionally driven edge. Praised by Musicvox Guitars as “one of the most innovative guitarists of our time,” his playing is lyrical, rhythmically charged, and expressive—grounded in swing while pushing boldly forward. Ovadia began touring internationally at 19 and has since performed at premier venues including The Blue Note, Blues Alley, and The Iridium. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he earned a master’s degree in jazz performance from New York University and was recognized in 2010 as a “Promising Artist of the 21st Century” in a New York City competition.
