Originally from Italy and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Alex De Lazzari has established himself as a powerful young voice on the tenor saxophone. A William Paterson University graduate, he studied with jazz masters including Mike LeDonne, Bill Charlap, Vincent Herring, Rich Perry, and Harold Mabern. Alex has performed internationally at renowned venues and festivals and continues to perform and teach throughout New York City.
