Cody McCorry is a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist based in Asbury Park, New Jersey. He leads the experimental ensemble We Used to Cut the Grass, with whom he has released multiple albums, and performs internationally across a wide range of genres. As a bassist and collaborator, he has contributed to projects spanning mathcore, jazz, and progressive music, including work with Thank You Scientist and Karmic Juggernaut. McCorry also composes for film, television, and video games, and is the author of instructional books for electric bass. His work reflects a versatile approach, incorporating diverse instrumentation and blending contemporary composition with improvisation and genre-crossing performance.
