Cranston Dean
Cranston Dean is a New Jersey based singer songwriter whose music carries the warmth and grit of classic American storytelling. Blending Americana, folk, jazz, country, blues, and pop, his songs focus on emotional detail and thoughtful songwriting. A staple of the Asbury Park scene, he has performed at venues including The Stone Pony, Wonder Bar, The Saint, Danny Clinch Studio, Langosta Lounge, Asbury Park Yacht Club, Brighton Bar, and The Chubby Pickle. Dean has shared stages with artists such as Simone Felice, Rayland Baxter, and Nicole Atkins, and has toured extensively throughout the Mid Atlantic, New England, Nashville, and the West Coast. His fourth studio album, High Beams, was named one of New Jersey’s best albums of 2017 by NJ.com. Trained as a jazz pianist at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Dean is a multiple time Asbury Park Music Award winner.
