Ilhan Saferali is an acclaimed young jazz musician making a strong impact on New York City’s jazz scene. A multi-instrumentalist on trumpet and piano, he blends classic influences like Thelonious Monk and Charlie Parker with modern voices such as Christian Scott and Immanuel Wilkins. Originally from Vancouver, he moved to NYC to study at The New School, training with renowned mentors including Reggie Workman and Buster Williams. Ilhan has performed with artists like Kamasi Washington and George Coleman, and recorded with A$AP Rocky and Caity Gyorgy. He continues to perform, compose, and grow within New York’s vibrant jazz community.
