Jonathan Kirschner is a jazz guitarist and composer based in the New York City area. Originally from Massachusetts, he moved to New Jersey to study with renowned guitarist Vic Juris at Mason Gross School of the Arts. Since then, he has become a vibrant presence on the NYC jazz scene, known for blending classic jazz guitar traditions with his own contemporary voice.

In 2025, Jonathan released his debut album, “Clarity”, featuring his trio performing original compositions that showcase his creativity, expressive playing, and leadership as a bandleader. With a style that is both inventive and deeply rooted in jazz tradition, Kirschner continues to perform regularly, sharing his music with audiences across New York and contributing to the evolution of modern jazz guitar.
