SUMMARY:Rodrigo Bonelli Quartet
DESCRIPTION:Known for his impeccable groove\, sophisticated taste\, and stylistic versatility\, Rodrigo maintains a busy performing and recording schedule throughout NYC and the United States. He has been privileged to perform with such renowned musicians as Don Friedman\, Ron McClure\, George Garzone\, and Claudio Roditi. Rodrigo’s drumming can be heard on the JazzIz 2010 CD entitled Signs of the Times\, as well as on the Two World’s quartet album Stream of Stars.\nRodrigo’s compositions have been featured on the Brazilian program “Manhattan Connection\,” airing on the GNT channel in Brazil. In 2013\, his  composition “Ups and Downs” was a finalist in the Jazz category of the USA Songwriting Competition\, an international contest. He has performed extensively in The United States\, Brazil\, Scotland\, Germany and Switzerland. In 2022 Mr. Bonelli became a voting member of the recording academy. He is an active instructor and clinician having taught in Germany\, USA and Brazil.
