Digba Ogunbiyi is a Nigerian-born drummer, composer, and educator whose music blends Yoruba rhythms with modern jazz harmony. Born in Lagos, he studied at the Peter King College of Music, the Music Society of Nigeria, and later earned advanced degrees in the United States, including studies at the prestigious Eastman School of Music. Ogunbiyi has performed with leading artists in Nigeria and the U.S., appearing at major jazz festivals and venues nationwide. His 2020 debut album Ade’digba received acclaim for its rich fusion of African rhythms and contemporary jazz influences.
