Rob Lanter is a New York–based guitarist, composer, and producer who studied composition and guitar at Berklee College of Music. He has scored independent films and produced numerous recordings across a range of styles. In the 1980s, his jazz fusion group Orpheus recorded for Polydor Records and toured throughout the United States and Canada. Lanter has released multiple solo projects, including The Invisible Man and tribute recordings honoring Joe Pass and Bill Evans, highlighting his focus on solo jazz guitar. Versed in jazz, rock, blues, Latin, funk, and classical music, he has performed at major jazz festivals and remains active as both a performer and studio professional.
