Winard Harper and Jeli Posse – Jazz Arts Project Summer Jazz Café
Celebrated jazz drummer, composer, and educator Winard Harper is dedicated to bringing music directly to the community. A virtuoso on both the drum set and the West African balafon, he is a sought-after collaborator who leads his own quartet, quintet, and the vibrant Jeli Posse. Beyond performing at legendary New York clubs, Harper fosters future talent through his weekly Fish Fry Jazz Jam and “Meet the Artist” series at Jersey City’s Moore’s Lounge.
