Leading the group is Jon Menges, a multitalented trumpet player, composer, arranger, and music copyist. His skills were honed in the Chicago music scene, where he performed with artists such as Cab Calloway, Lou Rawls, Neil Sedaka, Leslie Uggams, Freddie Cole, and Jon Faddis. Menges has toured internationally, performed with the Russ Morgan and Guy Lombardo orchestras, appeared in the Broadway tour of Copacabana, and continues to freelance in New York City, including subbing for the Radio City Rockettes Show.
